Artist's Description
This is a digitally hand-painted and enhanced recreation of a small lithographic print which is part of the Library of Congress collection and is in the public domain with no known restrictions. The artist who did the original painting is unknown but that painting was reproduced as a mass production lithograph to be used as an advertisement by lithographers Swain and Lewis of Chicago in 1882. About Lianne Schneider
As many of you are aware, Lianne is no longer with us. I am her son, Gordie, and have kept her account active to preserve the passion she had with her art and this community. My one regret is that having lost the battle with leukemia, I have to let go of something so special to me. I won't say goodbye - just may your lives be blessed as you have blessed mine." I have a passion for the landscape of...
