Please forgive me for not saying thank you to each comment. Believe me when I say that I appreciate each and every one of them more than you could know and I will hopefully return the gift over time by a visit to each of you to catch up with your work too. I'm so very grateful for the constant support I've received from all of you.
This image was taken in Bayou LaBatre, not that far from where I used to live for about 20 years. Seeing it, I was reminded of a song I used to hear on the radio when I was very young " Shrimp Boats Is A-Comin" - sung by Jo Stafford - a big hit in 1951. [I think I was born in the wrong generation]. I adore the music of the 40s and 50s and have all of Stafford's many hits]. Some of you may remember or perhaps have heard it on a PBS retrospective or something!

As many of you are aware, Lianne is no longer with us. I am her son, Gordie, and have kept her account active to preserve the passion she had with her art and this community.
