Description
I've been sitting on this one for several months during my on-again, off-again absences and while I wrestle with an obdurate health problem. I wasn't sure that I liked this at all but it's rather grown on me over time. It does need to be seen larger though. I've been playing with many different styles, techniques, painting subjects, composites. This is a painting based on a composite image I created - with thanks to forestwander.com for the background.

Lovely scene and very well executed. Thank the deities that we actually do still have scenes like this in the world and they are not only relegated to the past.
Lianne Schneider replied:
I'm very blessed to live in a rural area so this kind of scene is pretty common but I'm glad they're still here too. Thank you so much Chris - means a lot.

It's magnificent, Lianne ... and how I love your "playing with different styles and techniques" ... it's such fun, isn't it ... but it does force us to bust right out of our comfort zones!!!! With results like this, sweetie, bust away!!!!!!!!! f/v
Lianne Schneider replied:
LOL - you are never in a rut, sweetie. Everything you do is impossibly beautiful, wonderfully original and perfectly composed and textured. I should hope to get there!! But you're right - it is soooo much fun!! And I'm going to keep at it. Thanks so much hon!
