Description
A delicately petaled white clematis reaches for the last light of evening from beneath a giant pine.
Digitally hand painted from a reference photo taken in my own garden - this clematis grows up beside an ancient pine tree so it is always in shade, and yet like all flowers, it reaches for the sun instinctively, turning its face to catch the rays as they slant through thick branches. Just as the sun goes down, it gets its clearest opportunity to drench itself in light.
One of my very favorite early summer flowers - I'm always in awe to see the way these large white blossoms light up a shady spot.

Wow factor on this clematis shot as I have never seen one quite like it before, and love the color and awesome textures and background of this beauty, Lianne! What a fine piece of artwork for me to proudly display on our Featured Artwork section of our Homepage, within our family of friends and fine artists, in our Wisconsin Flowers and Scenery group. It is truly an honor to showcase your talents and beautiful artworks within our site, as our members get more promotion than in most groups, as I change out our Featured Artworks section 20 to 30 images at a time, and almost on a daily basis. I also change out our Top FEATURED artists weekly. I am proud to display this fine piece of beauty you have created for us to enjoy and share with others. LIKED and FAVED Forever, Elvis
