Red Sails in the Sunset
Red sails in the sunset, way out on the sea)
Oh, carry my loved one home safely to me
(She sailed at the dawning, all day I've been blue)
Red sails in the sunset; I'm trusting in you
Swift wings you must borrow
Make straight for the shore
We marry tomorrow
And she goes sailing no more
(Red sails in the sunset, way out on the sea)
Oh, carry my loved one home safely to me
Swift wings you must borrow
Make straight for the shore
We marry tomorrow
And she goes sailing no more
(Red sails in the sunset)
Way out on the sea (oh-wee-oh, wee-oh)
Oh, carry my loved one
(Home safely to me)

The song is actually a tad before my time although I remember it from the radio when I was quite young. But I've always loved it and some music never goes out of date. I'm so glad you think the image matches the romance of the song. Thank you so much Arjun.

Just superb. Image and poem twist together in a romantic thread of meaning that lifts it all to richer level. FAVE!

Lianne, you are such a talented lady. How do you paint like this? This is like the cover of a Romance Novel, or something very exciting.. I don't understand what digital art is, but I like it! Oh, and I see you are in the Loving the colors purple and pink group! No wonder I love it... I did the F/V thing... Good body of work you have done Lianne!
Lianne Schneider replied:
Kym I just don't know what to say in response to such a gorgeous and humbling comment. I just can't thank you enough!!
Gloria Ssali
wow the colour of the story of this piece is so palpable you can sense the mystery you created Lianne truly outstanding and a wonderful view truly special piece outstanding composition fv
Lianne Schneider replied:
Thank you so very much Gloria - sometimes the music just creates the image and sometimes it's the other way around. In this case the image came first! Thank you!
